Record points and stake out with your iPhone or iPad and an Emlid receiver. Sync your work to the cloud when you want to, and review or post-process it on your computer. Cloud sync is never required to use the app. Every conversion is built and checked against Belgian projections and mTAW heights, straight from the official NGI grids.

Everything that decides the shot is on the map.

All the diagnostics you need are right there on the map, clearly showing where you are and what you're staking or measuring. The 2D map keeps you oriented at a glance; switch to 3D to see your work exactly as it sits on site.

Clear diagnostics

Every accuracy figure is on the map in real time, in colour, so you always know how good your fix is. GEOM automatically warns or blocks you for the mistakes no accuracy number would ever catch, like an undeclared height datum, silently putting a point 46 m out. You always have the raw measurement to fall back on.

AVG

Occupation averaging

Hold the capture button and GEOM averages the occupation (ten epochs by default) to sharpen your accuracy. Watch the ring fill as they land.

STK

Stake points, lines and surfaces in 3D

Live distance, direction and cut/fill to a stored point, a DXF target, a line with a left or right offset, or a TIN surface. See the 3D DXF live in the app as you approach your target, so you can pinpoint exactly what you're staking out.

The drawing at its real heights

Your DXF draws as a true wireframe at real mTAW heights over a tilted basemap, keeping its layers and layer styles. Tap an entity from any angle and you select the thing you're looking at.

Works with WebODM

Point GEOM at your WebODM orthophoto and it appears under your work area, in the field and in the browser. Add the link once and it's live on every device, streaming straight from your WebODM host.

LOC

Site localisation

Fit the project to your reference points with robust weighted least squares, so every measurement and every stakeout starts from the same calibrated reference.

RX2

Emlid Reach RX2

Position over MFi, corrections over Bluetooth LE, and any NTRIP you hold an account with. GEOM supports IMU tilt compensation, straight from the receiver's raw position and raw tilt telemetry.

JOB

Linework, photos, check shots

Coded points string themselves into lines and polygons as you walk. Attach a photo to any point so you always find your way back to it. Run a check shot against known control whenever you want a second opinion, and undo the delete you didn't mean.

GEOM Cloud

The prep work syncs.

Drop a DXF into the browser and GEOM reads its layers and layer styles. Import it here and it syncs straight to your phone, the same way a field-collected DXF syncs back to the browser. Inspect the drawing in 2D or tilt it into 3D, go through what came back from the field, fix a name or a layer, export. Cloud sync is optional. Every one of these features, DXF import included, also works natively on the phone with no account at all.

    Open the file and filter the layers you want. Meshes off a scan can be split from the linework, or reduced to a wireframe, handy for the less clean DXF exports that come out of BIM software.

ETRS89 at the centre

Every point is stored once, as an ETRS89 3D position. Your project CRS is derived from it, and always reconstructable, even years later.

Transform

Lambert 72, 2008, or any EPSG

Lambert 72 and Lambert 2008 both go through the official NGI datum grid; mTAW through the hBG18 quasi-geoid. The same engine derives any other EPSG code straight from the stored ETRS89 position, so the picker can grow without touching how a coordinate is calculated.

Thoroughly tested

Every conversion in the app is checked against independent reference values, not just against itself. The picker offers a focused set of systems (the ones actually used in Belgium) while the raw ETRS89 3D coordinate is always kept underneath.

Every survey app's website claims everything. We keep the feature set focused and make sure what's there actually works.

  1. Positioning

    Position over MFi with in-app IMU tilt compensation, built for the Emlid Reach RX2.

  2. Export

    CSV and DXF, with a .prj sidecar, so the coordinate system travels with the file.

  3. Drawings

    The field app reads ASCII DXF and keeps the geometry clean. Splines and hatches are skipped rather than approximated.

  4. Systems

    Lambert 72, Lambert 2008 and UTM 31N in the picker today. The engine derives any EPSG code from the stored ETRS89 position. Tell us what you need.
